Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

The High Commissioner, His Excellency Dr. Benson Alfred Bana has introduced and facilitated the visit of a Nigeria company, Kaymin Dynamics Investment Limited to the Tanzania Investment Centre on 10th January, 2022. Kaymin Dynamics Investment Limited, is interested in exporting its capital to Tanzania and investing in the Hospitality sector and the company has sent a Management staff on a fact finding mission to the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC). The visit of Kaymin Dynamic Investment Limited is one of the outcomes of the Tanzania-Nigeria Tourism, Investment and Trade Forum (TN-TIT), which was organized by His Excellency in Lagos and Abuja on 4th and 6th May, 2021. 

The Forums were targeted at emancipating Nigerians and West Africans in general on the numerous investment and business opportunities available in Tanzania. The hybrid events had in attendance a total of about 1000 participants, with lots of secondary audience gathered from print, broadcast and social media coverage. The Mission, under the leadership of H. E. Dr Benson Alfred Bana continues to push forward the Economic Diplomacy Strategy of the United Republic of Tanzania. The forums have delivered not less than 5 business mission to the Tanzania Investment Centre and the Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority(ZIPA), and more deliverables are still anticipated as the Mission continues to receive fresh enquiries.
