Tanzania Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnership with Dangote Group

As part of Tanzania's Strategic Investment Drive, a high-level Government delegation  led by Hon Kitila Mkumbo (MP) Minister for Investment and Planning undertook a visit to Lagos, Nigeria, from 5–7 August 2026. A key engagement was a meeting with Dangote Group leadership, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthen Tanzania–Nigeria economic cooperation. Discussions focused on expanding investment across strategic sectors, advancing industrial development, and identifying new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. This engagement reflects Tanzania's commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment while building strong partnerships that drive sustainable development, regional prosperity, and shared economic success.

THE MISSION AT THE AFRICAN FOOD AND DRINK SHOW, ABUJA

Tanzania national delicacies and popular drink brands such as Africafe coffee, Kilimanjaro and African Pride tea were displayed to food and drink enthusiasts during the successful  Show held in the city of Abuja. The Tanzania High Commission in collaboration with Tanzania Diaspora were present to explain the unique quality of Tanzania food and beverages and also promote Zanzibar, Serengeti and Ngorongoro as premier Tanzania Tourism destinations.” To hundreds that visited Tanzania Stall.
