Tanzania and Cote d’Ivoire signed a Memorandum of Understanding for establishing cooperation in the field of sports. The signing ceremony was held in Dar es Salaam on 21st April 2024 during the visit to Tanzania by Hon. Adje Silas, Minister of Sport of Cote d’Ivoire. Hon. Silas and his delegation were in Tanzania for an official visit from 18-22 April 2024.

His Excellency Dr Benson Alfred Bana Meets with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Nigeria

  H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana and Hon. Amb. Zubairu Dada, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. His Excellency, Dr. Benson Alfred Bana visited the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Amb. Zubairu Dada after the Tanzania @ 60 Event on the 14th December, 2021. To share experience and brief the Minister on the success of the event. The Minister was the Guest of Hounour to the Special Dialogue event which held on 8th December, 2021. However, due to other engagement with the Highest Office the Minister was represented by the Engr. Ahmed Kadi Amshi, Chairman, National Assembly Service Commission.  The Highs Commission is appreciative of the Support received from the Federal Government of Nigeria through the MDAs towards the successful celebration of the 60th Independence Anniversary of Tanzania (Mainland). God bless and strengthen Tanzania-Nigeria bilateral relations.

His Excellency, Dr Benson Alfred Bana’s visit to the Nigeria Television Authority: Forging media relations between Tanzania and Nigeria

His Excellency Dr Benson Alfred Bana, visits the Nigeria Television Authority, as he midwifes the birth of a media collaboration between the Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation and the Nigerian Television Authority. Previously, His Excellency has successfully delivered a similar relationship between the TBC and the Voice of Nigeria, an autonomous arm of the Nigeria Broadcasting Service responsible for international radio broadcasting. This meeting is to take the critical steps necessary to have an MoU between TBC and NTA for mutually beneficial media relations and by extension to strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria.  The meeting with the Director General -Mallam Yakubu Ibn Mohammed (Represented by the General Manager, NTA International) held at the headquarters of the of NTA on 24th November, 2021.
