First Diaspora Meeting for the Year 2022/2023




The Tanzania High Commission, Abuja on 30th July, 2022 hosted Its first Diaspora meeting for the year 2022/2023. Among other things the meeting agreed to create and register "Tanzania Diaspora West African Group." The procedure has started, a drafting committee to prepare necessary guidelines for the group has been set up. Also, the High Commission used the opportunity to update on some other matters such as the process of Diaspora Special Status currently under review, etc.

Bana and Chief Nabil Ahmed Saleh, President of PHCCIMA The High Commissioner meets with the leadership of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) in Port Harcourt Rivers State on Friday, 2nd July, 2021. PHCCIMA is the leader of the private sector in River State. Rivers State is regarded as a gateway to the oil rich region of the Niger Delta in Nigeria. This meeting is intended to deliver a platform for linking the business community of the Niger Delta in Nigeria and their counterparts in Tanzania via the chambers of commerce.
