African Development Bank Available Vacancies As At 9th April, 2025

The
High Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania in Abuja, Nigeria, is
pleased to announce that on 1st August, 2022, a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce,
Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) and the oldest Chamber in West Africa, the
Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), for the promotion of trade and
business between Nigeria and Tanzania in line with the provisions of the AfCFTA.
The
process of signing the MoU has been midwifed by the Tanzania High Commission,
Abuja under the able headship of His Excellency, Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, over
several months with the first virtual meeting between the leadership of the
Chambers held on 13th October 2021, and several correspondences. It
is expected that the Memorandum of Action will follow and tangible measurable
outcomes will shortly be evident.
The
High Commission appreciates the current leadership of the LCCI, Asiwaju (Dr.) Michael Olawale-Cole, President of LCCI and
Dr. Chinyere Almona (Mrs), Director
General of LCCI, as well as the immediate past President and Director General,
Mrs Toki Mabogunje and Dr. Muda Yusuf, for their support and commitment to the
success of the decision to link both Chambers. Moreover, our gratitude goes to Mr.
Paul Faraj Koyi, President of TCCIA, who has been in the fore front of driving
the process in Tanzania, the immediate past Executive Director of TCCIA, Ms.
Judith Karangi, Ms. Janeth Kambona the current coordinator and the Acting
Executive Director, Mr. Nebart Mwapwele, for the enthusiasm and efforts
made to see this cooperation take-off on a proper framework.
