On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

H. E. Amb. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana bid farewell to H. E. Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, OON, Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria


It was an honour and privilege for the outgoing High Commissioner, Amb. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, to formally bid farewell to H. E. Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, OON, Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Federal Republic of Nigeria in his office on 3rd November, 2023. Ambassador Benson Bana has just completed his tour of duty in Nigeria and other 14 countries of accreditation as well as AfDB and ECOWAS. He returns to the United Republic of Tanzania on 4th November, 2023.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
