Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

Mrs. Judica Nagunwa, Chargé d’affaire a.i was received in audience by Hon. Dr. Tunji Alusa, Minister of State, Nigeria Federal Ministry of Health




On 5th June, 2024 Mrs. Judica Nagunwa, Chargé  d'affaire a.i was received in audience by Hon. Dr. Tunji Alusa, Minister of State, Nigeria Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The discussions, among other things, focused on the upcoming election for the WHO Regional Director for Africa scheduled for August 2024.

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has presented the candidature of Dr. Faustine E. Ndugulile  (MP) for the position of WHO Regional Director for Africa.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
