On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

Tanzania Broadcasting Cooperation (TBC) and Voice of Nigeria (VON) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote African news perspectives globally


Tanzania Broadcasting Cooperation (TBC) and Voice of Nigeria (VON) have signed a Memorandum of  Understanding (MOU) to promote African news perspectives globally.The MOU, among other things, will facilitate collaboration in five key areas, including  content exchange and the promotion of Kiswahili  Language.

The signing took place during the visit to Tanzania by VON Director General Mr. Jibrin Baba Ndace.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
