His. Excellency JULIUS MAADA BIO, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, has arrived in Dar es salaam to attend African Heads of State on Energy Summit scheduled from  27th-28th January 2025.

At the airport, H.E. President BIO was received by Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.

The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.
