On the margins of the Tanzania–Nigeria Trade & Investment Forum in Lagos, the Tanzania Building Agency met with the  President of the Real Estate Developers Association (REDAN) and Quantum Agency Ltd, and toured innovative real estate projects to explore collaboration and investment opportunities in the sector.

Visit to the Lagos Free Trade Zone by the Tanzania Business Mission

On 11 March 2026, the Tanzanian delegation visited the Lagos Free Trade Zone along the Lekki Corridor as part of the Tanzania–Nigeria Investment and Business Mission.  Lagos Free Zone is a private  Special Economic  Zone (SEZ) designed with modern infrastructure and an integrated single window clearance process. The visit served as a learning engagement to understand how the zone has developed into a world-class industrial park, with insights into its infrastructure, investment framework, and sustainability practices that support long-term industrial growth. The delegation also explored opportunities for knowledge sharing and potential collaboration, including the possibility for similar developments in Tanzania.

Visit to Fidson Healthcare Plc by the Tanzania Business Mission

On 10 March 2026, the Tanzanian delegation visited the Fidson Healthcare Plc manufacturing facility in Ogun State as part of the Tanzania–Nigeria Investment and Business Mission. The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain first-hand insight into Nigeria’s pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity, quality standards, and innovations in healthcare production. The engagement also opened discussions on potential partnerships in the pharmaceutical sector, including knowledge exchange, investment opportunities, and the possibility of expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing collaboration with Tanzania

The Tanzania–Nigeria Investment and Business Forum , Lagos

 The Tanzania–Nigeria Investment and Business Forum held in Lagos, Nigeria on 9th March, 2026 was successfully concluded, leaving behind momentum for stronger bilateral trade and investment  collaboration between the two dynamic economies. During the forum, business leaders, investors, and government representatives from both countries engaged in productive conversations, networking sessions, and business-to-business (B2B) meetings aimed at unlocking new trade and investment opportunities. The key sectors highlighted ranged from agriculture, energy, tourism, manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, among others, with emphasis placed on the role of the private sector in driving economic development. The forum was jointly organised by the High Commission, Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) and  Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
