Tanzania Building Agency (TBA) Study Tour to the Abuja Investment Company Limited

On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

Visit to the Lagos Free Trade Zone by the Tanzania Business Mission

On 11 March 2026, the Tanzanian delegation visited the Lagos Free Trade Zone along the Lekki Corridor as part of the Tanzania–Nigeria Investment and Business Mission.  Lagos Free Zone is a private  Special Economic  Zone (SEZ) designed with modern infrastructure and an integrated single window clearance process. The visit served as a learning engagement to understand how the zone has developed into a world-class industrial park, with insights into its infrastructure, investment framework, and sustainability practices that support long-term industrial growth.

The delegation also explored opportunities for knowledge sharing and potential collaboration, including the possibility for similar developments in Tanzania.
