Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, laid the foundation stone for the 112.3 Km Dodoma Outer Ring Road for its capital city, financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

On 28th May 2025, The High Commission in Abuja was honored to welcome Mr Leonard Bernard Mkude (CPA) Accountant General, Ministry of Finance of the United Republic of Tanzania. The Accountant General is in Abuja, for an Official Visit that aims, among other things, to Equip the Mission with tools to Engage Financial Services Stakeholders in the area of accreditation.
