newly appointed leaders, i.e. Hon. January Yusuf Makamba (MP), Minister,
MFA&EAC; Hon. Stephen Lujwahuka Byabato (MP), Deputy Minister, MFA&EAC;
and Amb. Prof. Kennedy Godfrey Gastorn, PS-MFA&EAC. We also send our best
wishes to the newly appointed Ambassadors: Amb. Said Hussein Massoro and Amb.

Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.
The Mission Received Mr Leonard Bernard Mkude (CPA) Accountant General
On 28th May 2025, The High Commission in Abuja was honored to welcome Mr Leonard Bernard Mkude (CPA) Accountant General, Ministry of Finance of the United Republic of Tanzania. The Accountant General is in Abuja, for an Official Visit that aims, among other things, to Equip the Mission with tools to Engage Financial Services Stakeholders in the area of accreditation.
