On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

The High Commission welcomes Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces


The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja.

The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.
