On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

Tanzania Buildings Agency (TBA) Visits Development Control Department



On 22nd of April, 2026 the Tanzania delegation visited the Department of Development Control, Federal Capital Territory Administration. The Tanzania Buildings Agency (TBA) officials held productive discussions with the Director and senior officers on regulatory frameworks, compliance systems, and development control processes, followed by a guided tour of operational units.

This engagement delivered practical insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
