On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

On 21st April, 2026, the Tanzania Buildings Agency (TBA) undertook an official study visit to the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) in Abuja, Nigeria.

The visit focused on knowledge exchange in urban planning, infrastructure development, land administration, and public asset management.

This engagement highlights the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria in advancing sustainable urban development and institutional capacity.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
