The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, received Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chairman Dangote Industries Limited at a the State House, Dar es Salaam on 24/05/2021


The Richest Man in Africa, Alhaji Aliko Dangote paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency, Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania to discuss among other things the possibility of an expansion of his investment in the country.
