On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

The Tanzania High Commission, Abuja-Nigeria has the pleasure to invite artistic minds across Nigeria and indeed the West African region to participate in the forthcoming Swahili Fashion Week. It is THE biggest and largest annual fashion event in the whole of East and Central Africa providing platform for fashion and accessory designers from Swahili speaking countries and beyond to showcase their talent, market their creativity and network with clientele and the international fashion industry.

This is all aimed at emphasizing to the region that fashion is an income generating creative industry, meanwhile promoting a Made in Africa concept.

Swahili Fashion Week is a platform founded and created by celebrated Pan African couturier from Tanzania, Mustafa Hassanali in year 2008. 2021 will mark the 14th Edition of this Annual Event to be held in Dar es Salaam from 3rd  to 5th December
