On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

H. E. Dr Benson A. Bana, High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Prof Stephen Okodudu, Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. At a meeting to resuscitate the moribund cooperation that existed between the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania  and the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria in the late 70s and early 80s on the teaching of Kiswahili Language.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
