Tanzania Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnership with Dangote Group

As part of Tanzania's Strategic Investment Drive, a high-level Government delegation  led by Hon Kitila Mkumbo (MP) Minister for Investment and Planning undertook a visit to Lagos, Nigeria, from 5–7 August 2026. A key engagement was a meeting with Dangote Group leadership, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthen Tanzania–Nigeria economic cooperation. Discussions focused on expanding investment across strategic sectors, advancing industrial development, and identifying new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. This engagement reflects Tanzania's commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment while building strong partnerships that drive sustainable development, regional prosperity, and shared economic success.

Tanzania High Commission Abuja - Nigeria presents "Plaque of Appreciation" to  Dangote Industries Limited,  United Bank for Africa and Sahara Group, Nigerian companies that have chosen the United Republic of Tanzania as their investment destination.  This is a follow up to the 'Thank You" cards presented at the Tanzania-Nigeria Tourism, Investment and Trade (TN-TIT) Forum, held on 4th May, 2021 (in Abuja)  and  6th May, 2021 ( in Lagos).
