Tanzania Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnership with Dangote Group

As part of Tanzania's Strategic Investment Drive, a high-level Government delegation  led by Hon Kitila Mkumbo (MP) Minister for Investment and Planning undertook a visit to Lagos, Nigeria, from 5–7 August 2026. A key engagement was a meeting with Dangote Group leadership, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthen Tanzania–Nigeria economic cooperation. Discussions focused on expanding investment across strategic sectors, advancing industrial development, and identifying new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. This engagement reflects Tanzania's commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment while building strong partnerships that drive sustainable development, regional prosperity, and shared economic success.

Strengthening Tanzania's International Cooperation

 

H. E. Hon. Amb Liberata Mulamula and H. E. Mr António Guterres

Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, H. E. Hon. Amb. Liberata Mulamula met with the United Nations Secretary General, H. E. Mr. António Guterres, when she paid a visit to his Office in New York, United States of America. 

Among other things, they exchanged views regarding how to improve and strengthen the existing cooperation between Tanzania and United Nations. The visit is in line with the implementation of the agenda of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H. E. Samia Suluhu Hassan, to strengthen Tanzania’s International Cooperation.
