The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

CELEBRATING THE ESAMA OF BENIN KINGDOM AT 87: CULTURE MEETS MODENRNITY

His Excellency, Dr Benson Alfred Bana, High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to Nigeria with Sir (Chief), Dr Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion at the Occasion of his 87th birthday anniversary, in Benin Kingdom, Edo State, Nigeria on Saturday, 11th September, 2021.
