FIDSON Healthcare PLC Undertakes a Business Mission to the United Republic of Tanzania.

The High Commission coordinated and facilitated the trade mission of FIDSON Healthcare PLC to Tanzania from 21st - 25th April 2024. While in Tanzania, FIDSON held strategic meetings with TIC, TMDA, MSD, and other important actors in the pharmaceutical sector. FIDSON is planning to invest in Tanzania in the near future.

The High Commissioner received five (5) Tanzanian who are on scholarship at the Rochas Okorocha Foundation College of Africa (ROFOCA) on Wednesday, 29th September, 2021. The Students were accompanied by their colleagues (140) from across Africa. One of the Tanzanian, Beauty Jafaray is an "A" student who has taken a lead position in her class consecutively. Other Tanzania students here include: Mwaihola Ayubu Andrew, Bernada Emmanuel, Bernarda Anna Shitindi and Willy Suzany. Most recently Miss Beauty Jafaray due to her outstanding academic performance won a visit to South Sudan at the invitation of the First Lady, Her Excellency, Madam Mary Ayen Mayardit.

Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political the organization, incorporated on the 24 of February, 1998, with a firm commitment to serve humanity. Its aim as an organization is to build a credible future for Africa by ensuring every less privileged child has access to qualitative and comprehensive education. Rochas Foundation is the charity organization behind the unending joy and hope for many children across Africa. The Foundation has made its mark on the sands of time having helped thousands of poor and downtrodden, and catered for the educational needs of thousands of out of school kids, giving them the opportunity of living their dreams and believing in their ability to contribute to societal growth.  The foundation currently has over ten colleges across Nigeria and a student population from about 26 African countries. The Foundation’s efforts is intended to set  the part towards the achievement of true African unity.

The High Commissioner commended the Pan-Africanist approach of ROFOCA in admitting and training underprivileged children from across Africa. He celebrates the founder of ROFOCA for his visionary and exemplary role in establishing and growing the ROFOCA dream and invites the college to establish a base in the United Republic of Tanzania to serve the Eastern Central and Southern African region.
