Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

Mr. Collins Atohengbe is a journalist with the Voice of Nigeria (VON).  A graduate of History and International Studies at the Lagos State University, Lagos Nigeria. He read Kiswahili at the Institute of Kiswahili and Foreign languages {Now part of the University of Zanzibar] Zanzibar, Tanzania. At one time, he was Head of VON State House Bureau, Aso Villa Abuja. Deputy Head of Languages Voice of Nigeria, Abuja. Head, Voice of Nigeria Southern Africa Regional Bureau, Pretoria.

Collins  stringed for the BBC Kiswahili Service, Lagos Correspondent for Channel Africa News, Johannesburg and presently Lagos correspondent for the Voice of America Kiswahili Service, Washington.

Mr. Atohengbe covered the Liberian Peace Process, The Nigerian Cameroun border negotiations, African Peer Review Mechanism, a number of African General elections including those of Kenya, Ugandan, Zambian, South Africa, Nigerian etc.
