Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

His Excellency Dr Benson Alfred Bana, visits the Nigeria Television Authority, as he midwifes the birth of a media collaboration between the Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation and the Nigerian Television Authority. Previously, His Excellency has successfully delivered a similar relationship between the TBC and the Voice of Nigeria, an autonomous arm of the Nigeria Broadcasting Service responsible for international radio broadcasting. This meeting is to take the critical steps necessary to have an MoU between TBC and NTA for mutually beneficial media relations and by extension to strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria. 

The meeting with the Director General -Mallam Yakubu Ibn Mohammed (Represented by the General Manager, NTA International) held at the headquarters of the of NTA on 24th November, 2021. Aside the 36 Stations and Abuja, NTA runs 62 Community Broadcast Stations, Digital Multi-Channels and subsidiary companies as indicated by the map. Aside the 36 Stations and Abuja, NTA runs 62 Community Broadcast Stations, Digital Multi-Channels and subsidiary companies, it boasts of no less than 101 station; with an audience that cuts across the continent. As a global network, NTA presently has bureaus in 7 countries of the world, including the United Kingdom, Washington DC, Ottawa (Canada), Accra (Ghana), Cairo (Egypt), Germany and China. These Bureaus are manned by experienced reporters who cover Nigerian-related events around the world
