Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

Tanzania cuisine narrated about the food culture of Tanzania. This was during cultural, trade and tourism exhibition organized by the Nigeria National Defence college (NDC) on 22nd January 2022, in Abuja. Among other more than 10 Embassies, Tanzania High Commission in Abuja used this opportunity to show case Tanzanian food, products and tourism opportunities. On the other hand, the participant in the NDC 2021/2022 program from the United Republic of Tanzania and the High Commissioner of the United republic of Tanzania in Nigeria, got an opportunity to give country briefing regarding Tanzania in general and in specific available investment opportunities as well as touristic attraction.







On 21st January 2022, His Excellency Dr. Benson Alfred Bana gives a Country Brief to the participants of the Course 30 at the Nigeria National Defence College (NDC), Abuja - Nigeria, where Colonel EM Kasyupa was the international participant from the United Republic of Tanzania. The Country Brief held along side the International Participants’ Food Fest and Artifacts Display in an out door pavilion. Some of the other international participants were from Niger, Gabon, Nepal, Bangladesh, Congo, Gambia, India, Senegal Sierra Leone, Congo DRC, Ghana, Cote d’ Ivoire, Cameroon and Chad, among others.
