On the margins of the Tanzania–Nigeria Trade & Investment Forum in Lagos, the Tanzania Building Agency met with the  President of the Real Estate Developers Association (REDAN) and Quantum Agency Ltd, and toured innovative real estate projects to explore collaboration and investment opportunities in the sector.

Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) meets with the Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Lameck Nchemba, Minister of Finance and Planning of the United Republic of Tanzania

Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Lameck Nchemba, Minister of Finance and Planning of Tanzania and Alice Usanase, Vice President of AFC 

H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana facilitated the meeting between the Leadership of Africa Finance Corporation and the Minister of Finance and Planning of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Lameck Nchemba on 22nd February, 2022 in Tanzania. The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) is an international finance organisation headquartered in Lagos – Nigeria. Although, Membership of AFC is open to all African/states. The Corporation currently has thirty-three (33) member states.  

The AFC delegation was led by Ms. Alice Usanase, Vice President and Ag. Head of Country Relations and members of the delegation include James Maduekeh, Vice President and Head of Treasury Client Services, Temitope Mudabai, Associate Vice President, Country Relations. The Honourable Minister of Finance was accompanied by Top Officials in the Ministry.

The AFC Team also met with the Bank of Tanzania team led by the Governor, Prof. Florens D. A. M. Luoga and Deputy Governors of the Bank on the 23rd February, 2022.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
