On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

GHANA ASSOCIATION OF TRAVEL AND TOUR AGENTS (GATTA) REGISTERED READINESS TO COOPERATION WITH TANZANIAHIGH COMMISSION TO PROMOTE TOURISM IN AFRICA

 


Ghana Association of Travel and Tour Agents (GATTA) registered readiness to cooperate with Tanzania High Commission to promote Tanzania tourist attractions and tourism in Africa, generally. This was during a courtesy meeting by H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, Tanzania High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria with Mr. Frank Kaimu Annin-Bonsu, Acting president of GATTA and Mr. Ebenezer Owusu-Asante, CEO of Keymeb Travel & Tour on 11 February 2022.

The meeting was part of His Excellency’s exploratory mission in Ghana towards preparation to host the Trade, Investment and Tourism (TIT) forum to be held in the Republic of Ghana during the first half of 2022. The forum is expected to bring on one stage, investors, the business community and tour operators from Ghana and neighbouring countries, to explore investment, and business opportunities available and investment incentives offered by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
