Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

H. E. DR. BENSON ALFRED BANA MEETS WITH CEO-OMNI GROP DURING TRADE, INVESTMENT AND TOURISM FORUM EXPLORATORY TRIP IN GHANA

 


H.E. Benson Alfred Bana, High Commissioner of Tanzania to Nigeria, paid visit to the CEO of OMNI Group, Mr. Michael Zormelo, in Accra, Ghana on 10th February 2022. Omni group has in its portfolio companies involved in different sectors including, energy, oil and gas, EW electronics and mapping, health care, construction, etc.

 The visit of H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana is intended to facilitate the preparations for the Trade, Investment and Tourism (TIT) forum to be organised by the Tanzania High Commission, Abuja – Nigeria and held in the Republic of Ghana during the first half of 2022. The forum is expected to bring on one stage, investors, the business community and tour operators from Ghana and neighbouring countries, to explore investment, and business opportunities available and investment incentives offered by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.

 Among other thing, H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, ceased the opportunity to introduce to OMNI Group the investment opportunities available in Tanzania, ranging from, real estate, mining, gas, oil, agriculture, blue economy, to mention a few. On the other hand, Mr. Michael registered his appreciation and promised to undertake an exploratory visit to the United Republic of Tanzania.
