On the margins of the Tanzania–Nigeria Trade & Investment Forum in Lagos, the Tanzania Building Agency met with the  President of the Real Estate Developers Association (REDAN) and Quantum Agency Ltd, and toured innovative real estate projects to explore collaboration and investment opportunities in the sector.

The Tanzania High Commission Chancery in Abuja on the 16th February, 2022, received the Director General/CEO and Senior Management Staff of National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), Nigeria. The NOTAP Team were on a reciprocal visit to explore further the identified areas of mutual interests for the United Republic of Tanzania and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as pointed to at  previous meetings.

This reciprocal visit by the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), is a step forward in the plans to reinvigorate its relationship with its Tanzania counterpart, the Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH), for technological development and advancement of Tanzania and Nigeria.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
