Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

TANZANIAN DIASPORA IN GHANA URGED TO SUPPORT THE EFFORTS OF TANZANIA HIGH COMMISSION, IN ABUJA IN IMPLEMENTING ECONOMIC DIPLOMACY STRATEGY IN GHANA

H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana and Representatives of the Tanzania Diaspora in Ghana

H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana met with Tanzanian Diaspora in Accra, Ghana on 11th February 2022.  During His Excellency urged members of the Diaspora to support the efforts of the Tanzania High Commission, Abuja in its implementation of economic diplomacy strategy of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.

Furthermore, he listed the areas of focus to include promoting tourism by increasing the number of tourists from Ghana to Tanzania, attracting investors from Ghana to Tanzania as well as promoting trade between Tanzania and Ghana.

The Tanzania Diaspora were appreciative to the High Commissioner for creating time to meet with them despite his busy schedule. They used the opportunity to present their concerns to the High Commissioner and solicited his intervention to resolve them.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
