Tanzania Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnership with Dangote Group

As part of Tanzania's Strategic Investment Drive, a high-level Government delegation  led by Hon Kitila Mkumbo (MP) Minister for Investment and Planning undertook a visit to Lagos, Nigeria, from 5–7 August 2026. A key engagement was a meeting with Dangote Group leadership, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthen Tanzania–Nigeria economic cooperation. Discussions focused on expanding investment across strategic sectors, advancing industrial development, and identifying new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. This engagement reflects Tanzania's commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment while building strong partnerships that drive sustainable development, regional prosperity, and shared economic success.

His Excellency, Dr. Benson Alfred Bana receives the Director of the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center, Abuja, Mr Macit Koç on Wednesday, 16th March, 2022 at the Tanzania High Commission, Chancery. The Center seeks to establish fruitful relations to correlate recreational activities for cultural exchange and advancement.

Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center, Abuja is one of Turkey's 64 active cultural centers spread across 56 countries. The Center was inaugurated in 2021 and is a part of the Turkish Diplomatic Mission to Nigeria.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
