On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

Updated on COVID-19 Travel Protocol in Zanzibar Tanzania





On March 16, 2022, Tanzania celebrated two full years since the first case of COVID-19 in the country. The Government of Zanzibar is relaxing conditions for travelers entering the Zanzibar who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. From 25th March, 2022, such travelers will be exempted from providing a Negative RT - PCR Certificate before arrival in Zanzibar.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
