On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

Dr. Benson Alfred Bana submits copies of his Credentials to H.E. Aurélien Agbénonci, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Benin.

Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, the Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania presented a copy of his credentials to Benin’s Benin’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Hon. Aaurelien Agbenonci, as Tanzania’s non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Benin. The Minister wished the Ambassador success in fulfilling his duties. Dr. Benson Bana expressed his commitment to take Tanzania and Benin bilateral ties to greater heights under the auspices of Tanzania’s economic diplomacy strategy.

During the meeting the two sides reviewed aspects of cooperation between Tanzania and Benin and discussed ways and means of strengthening people to people and business to business cooperation.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
