Tanzania Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnership with Dangote Group

As part of Tanzania's Strategic Investment Drive, a high-level Government delegation  led by Hon Kitila Mkumbo (MP) Minister for Investment and Planning undertook a visit to Lagos, Nigeria, from 5–7 August 2026. A key engagement was a meeting with Dangote Group leadership, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthen Tanzania–Nigeria economic cooperation. Discussions focused on expanding investment across strategic sectors, advancing industrial development, and identifying new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. This engagement reflects Tanzania's commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment while building strong partnerships that drive sustainable development, regional prosperity, and shared economic success.

Promoting Teaching and Learning of Kiswahili Language through the Rapid Kiswahili Training Program organized for Postulants traveling to Arusha Tanzania for Spiritual Training.

 


As part of H. E. Benson Alfred Bana, High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to Nigeria efforts in promoting teaching and learning of the Kiswahili language, Mr. Philbert Peter, Head of Economic Diplomacy Affairs (HEAD), on Monday, 2nd May, 2022, represented His Excellency on a visit to Carmelite Missionaries in Karshi, for Rapid Kiswahili Program for five (5) Postulates who are expected to travel to Arusha Tanzania on 5th May 2022 for Spiritual Training.

The Training, bringing together Postulates from Kenya, Malawi and Tanzania will be for a two-year period.
