Tanzania Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnership with Dangote Group

As part of Tanzania's Strategic Investment Drive, a high-level Government delegation  led by Hon Kitila Mkumbo (MP) Minister for Investment and Planning undertook a visit to Lagos, Nigeria, from 5–7 August 2026. A key engagement was a meeting with Dangote Group leadership, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthen Tanzania–Nigeria economic cooperation. Discussions focused on expanding investment across strategic sectors, advancing industrial development, and identifying new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. This engagement reflects Tanzania's commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment while building strong partnerships that drive sustainable development, regional prosperity, and shared economic success.

Delegates of Ikeja Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) visits His Excellency Dr Benson Alfred Bana

 


H. E. Dr Benson Alfred Bana receives delegates from the Ikeja Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA). In line with Economic Diplomacy Strategy and AfCFTA, the Mission is linking the private sector in Nigeria with their Tanzania counterparts for trade and business relations. Among other forms of collaboration, a trade Mission is in the horizon.
