Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

A Two Day Working Visit of Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) to National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), Nigeria

 


H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana has facilitated the linking of the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), Nigeria and Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) through a two day (7th and 8th September, 2022) working visit of COSTECH to NOTAP. Among other things, the visit will birth a Memorandum of Understanding and give rise to platforms of cooperation like staff and program exchange between the two institutions. 

The COSTECH team was represented by the Director General, Dr. Amos Nungu and Dr Gerald Kafuku, Director of Innovation and Technology. The team was able to tour the Raw Material Research and Development Council of Nigeria and as well as a courtesy call on Dr. (Sen) Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora, Honourable Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Nigeria.
