Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

The Head of the Secretariat of the Africa Business Convention (ABC), Mr. Odinaka Iloh accompanied by his colleagues Ms. Joy Nguvan Jacob and Ms. Keibi Bristol paid a courtesy call on H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana to invite His Excellency and the business community in Tanzania to the Africa Business Convention, 2023. To hold in Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos Nigeria on 7th and 8th February, 2023.

ABC is a business conference and investment expo expected to deliver to participants a platform to foster business relations and linkages particularly in Africa.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
