Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

Meeting between the High Commissioner and Management Staff with the Tanzania Cashewnuts Board


On 14th September, 2022, H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana received at the Chancery, members of the Cashewnut Board of Tanzania, led by the DG, Mr. Francis A. Mwakabumbe, who was accompanied by Mr. Peter Massawe, Technical Production Director - TechnoServe Benin, Mr. Bahati S. Mayoma, Chairman -Tanzania Association of Cashewnuts Processors (TACAP) and Mr. Godfrey D. Simbeye, President - Ward Holdings Africa. The discussion was focused on the means and ways for improving Tanzania Cashewnuts processing, promotion and sales.

The Delegates are in Abuja to attend the African Cashew Alliance (ACA), Annual Cashew Conference holding from 12th to 15th September. 2022.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
