The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

SADC Ambassadors' Group Meets Mr Peter Obi, the Labour Party Candidate For Nigeria 2023 Presidential Elections


On 14/09/2022 the Tanzania High Commissioner joined his colleagues in SADC Ambassadors’ Group, Abuja in a meeting with Mr. Peter Obi. Mr. Obi is the Labour Party candidate for the 2023 Nigerian Presidential election.
