On the margins of the Tanzania–Nigeria Trade & Investment Forum in Lagos, the Tanzania Building Agency met with the  President of the Real Estate Developers Association (REDAN) and Quantum Agency Ltd, and toured innovative real estate projects to explore collaboration and investment opportunities in the sector.

Tanzania Ranked One of The Top 5 Innovative Economies in Africa

 


In the 2021 Global Innovation Index (GII), Tanzania was ranked one of the top 5 innovative economies in Africa alongside countries like Mauritania, South Africa, Kenya, and Cabo Verde.

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), 2021 GII, was done against the backdrop of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic and its peculiar challenges. Measuring the most innovative economies in the world, using innovative performance of about 132 economies.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
