On 22nd of April, 2026 the TBA delegation also met with the Abuja Investment Company Limited, discussions focused on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure financing, culminating in a site visit to the Garki Ultra-Modern Market a practical example of successful PPP implementation. This visit provided valuable, hands-on insights aligned with TBA’s mandate, further strengthening knowledge exchange and cooperation between Tanzania and Nigeria.

Nigeria National Honours Award Investiture 2022


H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, High Commissioner of Tanzania to Nigeria was represented was represented by Mr. Philbert Peter, Economic Affairs Attaché at the Presentation of National Honours Award Investiture 2022, held in Abuja Nigeria on 11th Oct 2022. The National Honours Award was established by the National Honours Act No. 5 of 1964.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
