Tanzania Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnership with Dangote Group

As part of Tanzania's Strategic Investment Drive, a high-level Government delegation  led by Hon Kitila Mkumbo (MP) Minister for Investment and Planning undertook a visit to Lagos, Nigeria, from 5–7 August 2026. A key engagement was a meeting with Dangote Group leadership, led by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthen Tanzania–Nigeria economic cooperation. Discussions focused on expanding investment across strategic sectors, advancing industrial development, and identifying new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. This engagement reflects Tanzania's commitment to fostering a conducive investment environment while building strong partnerships that drive sustainable development, regional prosperity, and shared economic success.

Her Excellency President Samia Suluhu Hassan Meets 45 Envoys Representing Tanzania Around the Globe.


Today, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania, Amb. Dr. Mbarouk Nassor Mbarouk (MP), delivers the opening speech at Tanzania’s Ambassadors meeting in Zanzibar. All 45 envoys representing Tanzania in different parts of the world will from 14th -21st November, 2022 meet with the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency, Samia Suluhu Hassan.

The meeting aims to promote economic diplomacy, a strategic approach under the 6th phase government.
