Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation and the Voice of Nigeria chat the way forward, towards executing their Memorandum of Understanding

The Management of Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation and the Voice of Nigeria led by the Director Generals met virtually over zoom to chat the way forward, towards executing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was signed between the two institutions on 21st September, 2021. The meeting set out actionable clauses within the MoU and mapped out possible timelines.

The High Commission was on ground facilitating the meeting, through its team, led by the Head of Chancery, Mrs. Judica E. Nagunwa.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
