The High Commission Participates in the National Defence College Course 32 International Culture Fest.

On 4th May, 2024, the Participants of National Defence College Course 32 celebrated the International Culture Fest. Participants were drawn from 19 countries including Tanzania, Ghana, South Africa, Botswana, India, Brazil, Cote d'Ivoire, Benin, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe among others. The Tanzania High Commission was on ground to showcase Tanzania products, food and artifacts.

Zanzibar has been named number one top travel destination for 2023 by Travelers Worldwide, putting the Island on top of the list of 15 best travel destinations in Africa. Zanzibar’s unique history which features a blend of Arab, Swahili, Indian, and Portuguese influences, positions the Island as a must visit destination in 2023.

Thanks to continuous infrastructure development and Government's strategic response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Zanzibar is heading back to its pre COVID-19 arrival record and has been predicted to likely surpass it soon enough. Karibu Zanzibar!
