The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

On 14th March, 2023, His Excellency, Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, met with Amb. Ibrahim Maiga, Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Mali, before submitting figured copies his Letters of Credence to the Permanent Secretary.
