Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

H. E. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana receives Dr. Ayub Rioba Chacha the DG of Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation


On 16th May 2023, H. E. Dr Benson Alfred Bana, High Commissioner of Tanzania to Nigeria received Dr. Ayub Rioba Chacha, Director General Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation at the Chancery in Abuja, Nigeria. Dr. Rioba is in Nigeria to attend the 14th Ordinary Session of the General Assembly of the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) held from 16th - 20th May, 2023.

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
