The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania and Commander-In Chief of the Armed Forces, Ministry of Defense and National Service, CDF, Chief of National Service, Officers and NCOs on the auspicious occasion of the 60th Anniversary (1963-2023) of National Service, JKT.
