Tanzanian High Commissioner Hosts ACCI Deputy President to Advance Tanzania–Nigeria Trade and Investment Cooperation.

On 2 June 2026, The Tanzania High Commissioner to Nigeria H. E. Selestine Gervas Kakele welcomed Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, the Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at Tanzania House Abuja. During the Meeting H.E Kakele and Prof Adesugba focused on exploring opportunities to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, commerce, and private sector collaboration. With the upcoming ACCI trade mission to Tanzania in August 2026, discussions highlighted the importance of fostering business-to-business engagements, and creating new avenues for mutual growth and prosperity between the two countries Private Sectors.

EAC Ambassadors' Group, Abuja is Canvassing Support for Rt. Hon. Dr. Tulia Ackson for the IPU President




On 21 July 2023 at South Sudan Embassy, Abuja-Nigeria, the East African Ambassadors Group held a discussion with Mr. Joseph Ntakirutimana, Rt. Hon. Speaker of East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), Dr. S. H. Mlozi, MP-EALA and Mr. C. N. Ngeleja, Principal Clerk Assistant, EALA. The discussions, inter alia, focused on canvassing support for Candidature of Hon. Dr. Tulia Ackson, Speaker of Tanzania Parliament to IPU presidency from the speakers of ECOWAS, the state of politics in EAC countries, etc.

Air Tanzania is Granted Foreign Carrier Operating Permit

  Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, a Government agency has granted a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania to commerce scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Accra. The commencement of direct flights between these two cities will ease connectivity and promote trade, investment and tourism activities.  This step marks another milestone of enhancing relations and cooperation between Tanzania and West Africa region.
