The High Commission successfully coordinated the visit to Abuja Nigeria by Gen. Jacob John Mkunda, Tanzania’s Chief of Defense Forces, to attend the First African Chiefs of Defence Staff Meeting held from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Abuja. The meeting was under the theme 'Combating Contemporary Threats to Regional Peace and Security in Africa' and attended by 37 Defence Chiefs from African countries.

The High Commissioner, Amb. Dr. Benson Alfred Bana, was honoured to join Officers of CRDB Bank from Tanzania in Lagos at the Africa Procurement and Supply Chain Conference and Awards 2023. Tanzania High Commission congratulates CRDB Bank for winning African Continental level “Awards of Excellence” in selected four categories.
